Sexy, definitely! But after a few encounters with women with clit piercings I'm actually won over by the practicality, at least for me. Takes the guesswork out of finding the little bugger!
It still amazes me how varied women are in size, shape, color, placement and texture of the vaginal opening, lips, clits, and hoods. That's all good, but when I play with someone new, I have to learn the lay of the land. A clit piercing is a very convenient marker!
As a graphic example, I was with a new partner a couple of weeks ago. I discovered that she has a little ring with ball piercing on her clit. We "canoodled" in the hot tub for about 30 minutes, and during much of that time I was fingering her. I could flick the ring back and forth (that seemed to get the best response), but it also helped me locate her clit while I was flying blind, so to speak, so I could back off and not hit her clit all the time.
