Momma always made it up, usually with a post Christmas shopping spree!
Also, when Grandma mails my card to me instead of handing it to me at the family Christmas gathering, that feels good, too. Even if it arrives before Christmas.
Otherwise, it's better if everyone forgets my birthday is at that time of year - the guilty look on their faces when they remember at the last minute to wish me Happy Birthday is sad.
Nowadays, Sweet really takes care of me. He practiced for 13 years with the first wife (her birthday is the 29th). Practice makes perfect! facelick
