We're in the "younger" crowd, which in our area is late 20's and 30's, and there's plenty of us around. I think what you see on the websites are a good representation of the ages of people in the scene, so you should be prepared for all age groups. And, for the most part, age is not really an issue unless it is obvious that you are really young (read: immature). Most of the people we meet at socials are about our age, although we don't really know whether they're 26 or 33 or 39. And, you probably won't be able to tell either. I look the same as I did as a senior in high school, and I'm one of those "older" people who is 30.
We've played with people as young as 25 and as old as 50. Taking care of yourself and being a fun person and certainly being good in the sack don't rely on age alone.
