I get the same type of ingrown hairs right where my thigh attaches to my pubic area. They are no fun and they are hard to get rid of and do leave scars. Is that where you get them or do you get them further in? I have found that in the area where I get them I can keep them to a minimum by doing two things:
1. Exfoliate both before and after shaving - often after shaving exfoliating will bring out hairs that you missed in shaving. Then go in with tweezers and pluck those hairs.
2. After you shave and again at night and in the mornings between shaving apply Dove original deoderant to the shaved area. The extra moisturizers help moisterize and the anti persperant qualities help reduce sweat in the area which can exacerbate ingrown hairs. |
