Jenn - I think that vanilla online dating is the dating wave of the future. It does make it a lot easier then trying to meet someone at the grocery, bar, etc..... People just don't have the time that they used to, and online dating usually helps to screen out the losers. I used alot of caution though - always met in a public place, let someone know where I was, the usuals. You still have trolls who are only looking for only one thing, but I think that's everywhere. You have to be able to read people and go into a date with no expectations and have an "out" although I never used one.
James - I think thats there is alot more weirdos on vanilla sites. I think that in the vanilla world, you have to take longer to get to know someone. I think online dating is a good thing. I met the love of my life through Yahoo Personals, so I can't really say anything bad about it. Overall I would give vanilla online dating a B.
