Swinging isn't for everyone. Sometimes the fantasy is incredible, but the reality just isn't what you hoped for.
Personally, I am not sure what the appeal is for being just "another guy in line." But - obviously, guys like the whole "gang-bang" thing. You aren't the only one who wouldn't want to be a part of it, so I am not sure there is anything to get over.
It doesn't appeal to you and that's okay. There are plenty of fun ways to get involved in some incredibly hot sex!
