Swinging has been a great motivator for both my wife and myself. Its easy to get lazy and comfortable with each other, but when you know new eyes will be staring, its good to be in shape.
Personality AND looks matter to us. A while back we met a new couple and the male half wasn't very attractive. I thought he was downright ugly. We didn't play and my wifes comment was 'well if he had a better personality, I wouldn't have had a problem with it.'
That about sums it up for us.
