Re: A matter of practicality: beds! I am eager to see many responses to this dilemma, as I have a similar one.
Our house is not so small ... around 2200 sq. ft. actually, and we have four bedrooms.
Here's my dilemma ... We have considered having a small to mid-sized party/get-together and space would be a concern for 4-5 couples and a few singles.
One of the bedrooms is ours, with a king size bed, no problem there.
The other three bedrooms belong to our kids, and are definitely off-limits to play. Aside from that being something I just could not allow to occur on our children's beds .... who would want to participate in obvious "kid" rooms????
That leaves our living room, which is rather large but is divided by the couch as our pool table is in the living room as well as the couch/loveseat/television sitting area.
So I am greatly looking forward to any suggestions for how to have a party like this with limited play space.
