This is my concern as well.
Please consider your safety, it's way more important than a weight issue.
I hope that you are staying at a hotel, not with him, and first meeting in a public place, as starlinn suggested.
I've know women who had a long-term internet relationship develop, and upon meeting, it felt very different being face to face with the person. Be prepared for that, listen to your instincts, you'll have the tendency to talk yourself into excusing any red flags that pop up because you want it to work out.
