You got exceptionally great advise here. Acknowledging a potential problem prior to an encounter is always the first step towards defusing it and seeing a possible solution. Remember that in swinging, ultimate success lies in how well you both grew closer through the outcome (whether considered positive or negative). Hope you understand that no matter what the outcome was for you, there was also one for her (and it's not always the same for both). It will always be that way (different issues with you or her) with each encounter (whether it someone new or someone you have played with before). The challenge, intrigue, and exploring new frontiers adds spice to our lives. Treat each encounter as a unique situation, discuss possible issues (fears, problems, expectations, etc) prior to and then have an "after action report" to build up on the excitement or difuse/correct any new unexpected issues that came up.
