I could definately agree with that assumption as to what happened with them and see where the female would feel left out in that situation. At least tho your wife was nice enough to try to make it up to her in other ways. Sounds like the guy had some issues.. and needed to think more about what his wife would have liked than what he liked.. then again maybe she wasn't interested in a MFM threesome and he knew that and rather than her stating it he did.. there's really no way to know.
