I am not quite sure what kind of help you are asking for. He has the same rights as you do as you guys approach the ideas of swinging. He will set boundaries as they are comfortable for him - just as you are going to set yours. The job, then, is for you both to respect each other's boundaries.
I think the two of you have a lot of communication to do before you take the "big step".
