True, but, if you don't have any symptoms, ie outbreaks, why would you get tested?
And if you're going to test for shedding you have to know where the specific spot is. Practically speaking, I can't see how anyone could show asymptomatic shedding without knowing the spot to test. And I can't see how you'd know the spot without having had an outbreak. Seems like a "Catch 22" to me.
