The question I asked myself was.... do I really see myself putting a kid through college when I am in my late 60s? The answer was NO! I already have two wonderful kids who will graduate HS within the decade.... enough!

If you are not so sure, maybe hold off or look into considering banking some sperm. Do NOT keep the "reversible" option in the back of your mind. For me the V was 15 minutes of discomfort and a couple of days of taking it easy. I saw a reversal once on Discovery or TLC and it was major... looked like a firecracker had gone off in this guy's scrotum... parts pulled out all over... tubes running here and there. And, it all comes with no guarantee of success.
