OK, folks, I'm gonna try and post a detailed description of our first ever MFM that occurred a week and a half ago. It's not as polished and edited or as complete as I'd like it to be if I were going to submit it for the story archives, so I'm just going to post it here right now. We've been keeping y'all at bay with promises and more promises that it's gonna be done
Real Soon Now, so I'll feel real guilty if I don't deliver. And since we're going to be leaving town for several days starting tomorrow, it means if I don't submit it today, it's probably gonna be another week or two before I can get back to it.
This trip report is as accurate and factual as I can make it. Between C and I, we snapped about 500 still photos, and I kept referring back to them to make sure I remember correctly who did what to whom and when. (I snapped about 400 myself, mainly because I was using the photography as a kind of therapy -- by concentrating on getting the best camera angles and framing the pictures, etc. during the hottest, most intense moments, it helped distract my mind from what was going on right there in front of me and so helped me keep my emotions under control. Of course, it means I now have 400 pics of precisely the hottest, most intense moments to stare at and study to make sure I get the narrative correct. That hasn't helped get this narrative done any quicker.
