We just dealt with the very same issue this past New Year's Eve. My period was two days early, but we went anyway and had a great time. It gave me a chance to hone up on my oral skills.
There were three of us there, that night, in the same boat.
I'd do it again but I'd obviously
prefer to be able to participate in
all games.
