For us, maturity and the ability to have good conversation is more important than an actual number. The couples we are friends with tend to be older than we are (we're 31) simply because we have more in common with them and can all relate to things better. However, we wouldn't rule someone out based *only* on their age. Really though there are so many couples out there looking for so many different things that you should be able to find compatible playmates.
