ok, so I have a ? for you guys that have done this. We've discussed my getting cut, and we're thinking it would be for the best overall, but there's 1 problem. I will NOT submit to needles of any kind. It's a mental thing that stems from a childhood incident with being in the hospital and having an IV put in wrong. I literally black out and go insane if I'm subjected to one (I've hurt people when that happens, much to my embarrasment and dismay
), and when I had my wisdom teeth taken out about 2 years ago, it literally took 5 orderlies to hold me down long enough to get the IV in to knock me out so they could take 'em out. It's really not a pretty sight
so, my question is, what are the alternatives, if any, other than insisting on being put under for the process?
