Pretty much what Cisco said.. well sorta. When it comes to message board posts. There really is no "owner", but it is of course proper etiquette to include a note of where it came from.
When it comes to articles, photos, stories and such like that those are copyrighted the second they are created. So reposting such is a copyright infringement and if the person who created the original catches it they can prosecute you. I know that for photos it's something like $5000 per infringement. |
