I (the male part of this couple) get vetoed a lot. Seems I have bad taste in women, so she says.
But, like Mr&Mrs-naughty say, we occasionally take one for the team.
When your looking at prospective couples, it's true you would like everything to be 100% for both of you. But, that's not going to happen unless you start dating/seeing the folks in the mirror. Your taste are not going to match anyone but you. For the life of me, I can't see the attraction that Maggie finds in some men. But hell that's her, not me. She definitely can't see the attraction I find in some women...but that's me.
We both maintain veto power. But, there are times when I can tell, she really wants a certian guy, and I take one for the team. It works the other way too. But, we have our limits also. A FIRM "NO" puts the brakes on everything...for both of us.
Just relax, this is about both of you. Her taste isn't perfect, she just decided to marry you out of all her other choices. That should tell you something
